Case History: Master Swaraj Mirajkar is a 2 year and 4-month-old boy diagnosed with a Partial AV Canal Defect, characterized by a large primum atrial septal defect (ASD). Ostium primum ASDs are frequently associated with a cleft in the anterior leaflet of the mitral valve; however, isolated mitral valve clefts can also occur. This condition, sometimes referred to as a partial AV canal defect or partial AV septal defect, requires surgical intervention. Swaraj is scheduled to undergo the operation at Balaji Heart Hospital & Diagnostic Centre in Mumbai.

Family Background: His father works as a farmer and his mother is a housewife. His father’s monthly income is 3,300/- since his parent’s financial condition is very poor and they have six members in their family. They are dependent on his father; he is not in a position to bear the cost of his son’s treatment.

Appeal to the Donors: We earnestly appeal to compassionate donors like YOU to step forward and offer your support to help us provide the necessary treatment for Mast. Swaraj Mirajkar. The total cost of his treatment, including pre-and post-operative investigations and doctor charges, amounts to approximately Rs 2, 50,000/-. Your contribution can make a significant difference in his life and alleviate the burden on his family. Donations can be made to the SAVE TEARS FOUNDATION through online platforms, cheques, or demand drafts.
