Case History: Mast. Rugved Baldota, 09 years old boy, is suffering from congenital cyanotic heart disease. An Acyanotic heart disease is where the blood contains enough oxygen but it’s pumped abnormally around the body. Babies born with a cyanotic heart disease may not have any apparent symptoms but, over time, the condition can cause health problems. The treatment of this disease is urgent open heart surgery to close the defect. The patient is being operated on in Jehangir Hospital – Pune.

Family Background: His father is no more with them and his mother is working as a maid. His Mother’s monthly income is 3000/- since his parent’s financial condition is very poor and there is no one to support them. His mother is not in a position to bear the cost of the treatment of his son.
