Case History: Mast Pruthviraj Salgar, 8yrs old boy is suffering from a Double chambered right ventricle with discrete mild RV cavity muscle bundle producing. Double-chambered right ventricle (DCRV) is a form of right ventricular (RV) outflow tract obstruction caused by an anomalous muscular or fibromuscular bundle that divides the right ventricle into the proximal high-pressure and distal low-pressure chamber. The atrial exposure of the ventricular septal defect is excellent. The muscle bundle(s) can be visualized easily through an initial transverse pulmonary arteriotomy with the completion of resection through the tricuspid valve. The patient is being operated on in Balaji Heart Hospital and Diagnostic Centre Byculla – Mumbai.

Family Background: His father works as a farmer and his mother is a housewife. His father’s monthly income is only 5000/-. Since his father had to take care of the family and they are dependent on him, he is not in a position to bear the cost of the treatment.
