Case History: Miss Mahinoor Shaikh, 9 month old female. Who is suffering from severe valvular aortic stenosis, biscupid aortic valve with a commissure, and unsplit rephae pulmonary hypertension. Aortic valve stenosis is a type of heart valve disease. The valve between the lower left heart chamber and the body’s main artery is narrowed and doesn’t open fully. This reduces or blocks blood flow from the heart to the aorta and to the rest of the body. The patient is being operated on in Aims Hospital & Research Centre in Pune.

Family Background: Her father works as a labourer and her mother is a homemaker. Along with senior citizen parents together, their monthly income of 12000/- which is too little to cover the costs of his daughter’s medical treatment— Since her father had to take care of the family and they are dependent on him, he is not in a position to bear the cost of the treatment.
