Three Years Old Khushi Dutonde Needs Your Support To Fight For Life

Case History: Baby Khushi Dutonde. A 3 years old female is diagnosed with large restrictive perimembranous VSD with subaortic extension. Large defects are less likely to close spontaneously, may result in congestive heart failure, and more often require surgical closure. The term restrictive describes small defects that allow little or no blood to flow from the left side of the heart to the right side of the heart. Surgical repair of a ventricular septal defect involves open heart surgery and placement of a prosthetic patch, sutured in place that covers the defect. The patient is operated on at Balaji Heart Hospital and Diagnostic Centre – Byculla Mumbai.
Family Background: Her father works as a labourer on the farm while her mother is a homemaker. Their monthly family income is 6000/- in their family total of eight members are living, which is insufficient to cover the cost of medical expenses. Due to his responsibilities towards the family and they are dependent on him, her father cannot afford the treatment cost.
Appeal to the Donors: We kindly request your generous support in curing Baby Khushi Dutonde. The estimated cost of her treatment, including pre and post-operative investigations and doctor charges is approx. Rs. 2, 50,000/- You can contribute to the Save Tears Foundation through online donations, cheques, or demand drafts.
