Case History: Mast. Kartik Gajanan Dhangar, an innocent 1 year old boy, is suffering from congenital heart disease moderate size subpulmonic VSD Surgery for ICR of VSD Closure. A congenital heart defect is a problem with the heart’s structure that is present at birth. This type of heart defect changes the normal flow of blood through the heart. Surgery for ICR of VSD Closure, a complex heart defect that occurs in about 5 out of every `10,000 babies. It affects boys and girls equally. The heart has a wall that separates the two chambers on its left side from the two chambers on its right side. This wall is called a septum. The septum prevents blood from mixing between the two sides of the heart. Due to their poor financial condition, they have been going door to door for monetary support and hence could not get the operation done. Mast. Kartik Gajanan Dhangar’s health has started deteriorating day by day and hence they took him to a government hospital in HIngoli. Doctors informed them that he requires urgent Open Heart Surgery as early as possible. The patient is being operated in Balaji Heart Hospital & Diagnostic Center, Byculla in Mumbai.

Family Background: His Father works as a Daily wage farm worker in District – Hingoli, Maharashtra, and his mother is a Housewife. He is the Second child and his Father earns only `4000/- per month.
