Case History: Master Devansh Sakinal is a 1-Years-old boy, has been diagnosed with congenital acyanotic heart disease, specifically coarctation of the aorta with a small atrial septal defect (ASD). Acyanotic heart disease refers to a condition where the blood contains enough oxygen but is pumped abnormally throughout the body. While babies born with acyanotic heart disease may not initially show symptoms, over time, the condition can lead to health complications. In cases of larger ASDs, medical intervention such as a procedure or heart surgery may be necessary to close the defect. The patient is scheduled to undergo the operation at Jehangir Hospital in Pune.
